This website made possible with support from the U.S. State Department Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Cultural Programs through a grant for "Art Exchanges on International Issues for Tanzania" with special focus on young women artists.

 

This site aims to share information about Tanzanian artists, their work, issues that impact their world and the available resources that can help artists. This site also provides access to opportunities for artists cooperation within Tanzanian and in Northwest Ohio, USA.


"Art - In a Woman's World" is a 200-page full color book published to celebrate the success of the 2009-2010 Arts Exchanges On International Issues for Tanzania program -funded by the U.S. State Department -  and introduce the Tanzanian & U.S. artists and samples of their individual and joint artworks to a wider audience around the world who are interested in women artists' achievements.

 

This publication is available for $15 per copy (at cost) plus shipping.
